The NEW AGE incubator is an incubator of the modern generation, with high quality and big set of functions. The automatic temperature, humidity, oxygen concentration control, sterile vapour humidifier, warm air curtains, sliding out mattress holder, internal air sterilization by means of UV lamp, - this is not complete list of the advantages of the New Age incubator.

The incubator is controlled by 2 microprocessors: one, in the main body of the incubator, controls all the functions, another, in the control unit (sleeve), controls the display and key-pad functions.

Main features

• Patient’s chamber
  The canopy is made of Plexiglas without any rubber or plastic gaskets, which provides better visibility and hygienic characteristics and simplifies cleaning of the canopy. 
• Access to the patient
  The access to the patient is provided through special holes for hands and through big doors, the number of which varies in different models of the incubator (see below). There are three (or more, if custom ordered) inlets for tubes, probes, etc. The canopy is rounded in shape and the curvature degree is carefully chosen to avoid any optical distortion.
• Air
  The system of air preparation and inflow into the patient’s chamber provides complete air replacement 20 times per hour, that is, once every three minutes. Three air curtains located near the main doors of the canopy prevent heat loss when opening the doors. When the front door is open, the speed of warm air inflow increases. 
• Movements of the patient’s bed
  The patient’s bed can be tilted into Trendelemburg position and (in some modifications) lifted and lowered. The movement is executed by means of low-noise servomotors which are controlled from the control panel or by treadles (option).
• Assembling and disassembling
  For cleaning purposes the patient’s chamber can be disassembled without any use of instruments. Having been disassembled, the parts of the chamber are easily disinfected and cleaned. 
• Radiography
  Patient’s chamber is completely transparent for x-rays and this allows to carry out x-ray analysis with the patient staying inside the incubator. X-ray cassette is placed under the bed, outside the patient’s chamber.
• Extendable patient’s bed
  Patient’s bed can be extended from the hood, locking in extreme positions. This provides a good access to the patient for carrying out manipulations.
• Air circulation
  There are two options for air circulation system – open-circuit and closed-circuit. The incoming air is filtrated and undergoes irradiation by antibacterial lamp.
• Humidification
• The air coming into the patient’s chamber is humidified by steam generating inbuilt humidifier. Humidity is controlled automatically. Humidifier can be completely drawn out and disassembled for cleaning.
• Qxygen control
  Automatic maintenance of preset oxygen concentration inside the patient’s chamber is possible (optional). All models have a inbuilt oxygen concentration monitor.
• Temperature
  Constant measuring of the patient’s skin temperature, in some modifications – in two points, with the help of two skin temperature probes. The difference of temperatures and trend diagram are displayed. 
• Phototherapy
  It is possible o carry out phototherapy treatment with patient staying inside the incubator.
• Automatic temperature control
  In air temperature maintenance mode: from 30°С (or less, at the client’s request) to 37°С, or to 39°С in special mode; in baby’s skin temperature maintenance mode – from 35°С to 37,5°С, или to 39°С in special mode.
  Data presentation
  The display presents the real and preset values of air and baby temperature, humidity, oxygen concentration. Can be presented the trend graph of these parameters.
• Noise
  Noise inside the patient’s chamber does not exceed 46 dB
• Serial port
  Incubator control system has serial port RS232 for the connection to the central computer
